Hi my name is Glyn Curtis, I am the managing director of The Tile Warehouses, which I set up back in 1988.

I got married to my beautiful wife Bri in 1981 who I met when will were both sixteen and who I still love very much. We have three great kids; Sarah, who wants to go into teaching, Nikki who just wants to shop and James who wants to play football for one of my other loves, West Ham United FC. I am also a great music lover and try to play the guitar (by the way you do not have to play guitar to get a job here).

ALEX WHITE
Manager of the Maldon Showroom

Hi, my name is Al White (Manager of the Maldon Showroom).

My job is to make sure everything runs smooth at our Maldon showroom and to advise the customers the best choice of tile for there needs from our extensive range which we import from Spain and Italy.

My hobby is music and I'm in a band called 'The Mighty Black Camel'. I have a beautiful baby son with my partner… Poor thing was born 28 weeks premature, but he’s doing fine. With much regret, at times I’ll have a game of squash. Just to keep the blood pumping round!

JOHN COVENTRY
Manager of the Basildon Showroom

John is a mind of both useful and useless information. John has been in the tile trade forever - when the Romans invaded Britain and were designing the city of Bath with all of its complicated mosaic designs, they sent a horseback rider for John.

He is happily married with 4 daughters (he's now bought a television since the last Daughter was born). John is also a 1970's headbanger and plays bass guitar. John can be found at our Basildon branch where he is only to willing to offer advice on anything to do with tiles or music.

Hi my name is Bridie Curtis. I am the Company Secretary and the real boss. All my work is behind the scene making sure it all runs smoothly.

Driver

My name is Lee, believe it or not I'm now into my 40's, I can't believe it either. I see myself as an ambassador for the company, a happy smiley face that greets you the customer as you open your door to me when I deliver your tiles. Now reality - I'm a white van man driver, married to Clair who's gorgeous, with two kids, Adam and Katie. I'm been at the Tile Warehouse for 7 long and happy years, so come on you lot, if you buy more tiles I get to go out in the van more.

ALEX REED
Sales Assistant

Hi, my name is Alex Reed. I am the sales assistant of the Maldon showroom. My job is to help you find the tiles to most suite your needs! Hobbies??? Only one, but it takes up most of my time. I play bass guitar in a band, we’re still quite fresh, only been going for half a year, we play alternative rock and one day we’ll make it big, watch this space……
